Hanna founded Mood and Space, a development company that supports clients in embedding social value in their development vision and strategy as well as efficiently managing the processes to deliver community focused buildings and urban neighbourhoods.

Prior to founding Mood and Space, Hanna Afolabi BA (Hons) MSc MRICS was a Development Director for Balfour Beatty Investments seconded into East Wick and Sweetwater Ltd, a joint venture with Places for People. She led on the feasibility, business planning, budget, design, programming and planning of the mixed-use regeneration project of c. 1900 homes on the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park. As a planning and development surveyor and holds a BA Hons in Architecture, she is passionate about the built environment and ensuring that people come first in any development process.

She has first hand experience of living on a council estate in Haggerston and the disenfranchisement that occurs when people feel that development is done ‘to’ them instead of for them. Growing up in a diverse environment and going to school there means she understands the value of community.

Additionally, Hanna founded Black Women in Real Estate (BWRE) in 2019. BWRE is an organisation that aims to bring together black women in property, creating opportunities for upcoming talent and organising workshops for those already in the industry. She is also Vice Chair of the University of Greenwich’s Construction, Property and Surveying Practices Industry Advisory Board and is on Estates Gazette's Diversity & Inclusion Content Advisory Panel, advocating for diverse representation in property.

A real estate investment banker with over 35 years’ experience of strategic advisory, M&A, capital raising, and restructuring in the UK/EMEA across multiple sectors including MFH/BTR, student accommodation, logistics, life sciences, data centres, offices and retail. Previous experience in investment management, structured lending and as a Chartered Accountant. 

Rob Bould is a senior figure in the UK and European commercial property industry with over 40 years’ experience advising major investors, developers, and institutions.

He is the former CEO of GVA Bilfinger, Executive Vice President of Bilfinger Real Estate, and Chairman of GVA Worldwide, having begun his career at Grimley & Son in Birmingham. He has held leadership roles across investment, capital markets, and corporate strategy, and is widely recognised for his influence on the sector’s evolution. He is a past Chairman and life member of the Investment Property Forum, a past Master of the Worshipful Company of Chartered Surveyors, and a long standing supporter of the property industry charity LandAid, where he served as Deputy Chair, Chair of Trustees, and Founder of the LandAid Patrons Network.

Today, Rob continues to advise businesses at board level, contribute to industry initiatives, and champion social impact within the built environment.

He has also led the acquisition and recent growth of BizSpace in the UK, increasing funds from operations from £5 million to over £50 million in just under 5 years. In 2025 Sirius was the highest performing London Listed Property stock by Shareholder Return and the company continues to produce double digit year on year returns for it’s shareholders.

Deepa is a senior transactional commercial property lawyer. She specialises in both property investment and development, acting for domestic and overseas developers, property companies, institutional investors/funds, and financiers. Deepa has significant expertise in complex property transactions including structured investments and disposals, joint ventures and all aspects of corporate real estate and real estate finance transactions both single asset and portfolios.

Arthur Duke is the Founder and Chairman of Live-in Guardians, London’s leading providers of vacant property protection and management. A qualified commercial lawyer with over three decades of experience, Arthur began his career at Nabarro and Taylor Wessing before moving into the property sector, where he built strong industry relationships that helped shape the foundations of Live-in Guardians.

Since launching the business in 2010, he has driven its growth through a practical, entrepreneurial approach that balances property security with social impact. Under his leadership, the company has become known for delivering reliable solutions to property owners while creating affordable living opportunities across London.

Having worked in the property sector since 1996, Bruce has covered pretty much all aspects of residential property, holding roles such as CEO of Lomond Capital and Managing Director at Countrywide. During his career, Bruce has opened up over 200 businesses in the UK, been involved in over 100 acquisitions (several of which he headed up) and operated right across the UK, while always retaining a strong focus in London. As Chief Commercial Officer of Rent Guarantor, he is in the unique position to be able to offer a product that has benefits for Landlords, Tenants and Living Sector Operators simultaneously.

Appointed Head of Gamuda Land UK in 2022, Niall has been at the forefront of their acquisition and development delivery (spanning commercial, PBSA and residential assets). He has been instrumental in building Gamuda Land’s presence in the UK market, diversifying their strategies and growing their team.

Prior to this, he managed major urban regeneration projects across London including involvement in Lendlease UK’s Stratford Cross and Tottenham’s High Road West projects.

With over 20 years’ experience across the full spectrum of real estate transactions, Kellie is particularly known for her expertise in large-scale development projects. Praised for her commercial, solution-focused approach, she acts for developers of both residential and employment led schemes supporting clients through the full life-cycle of these projects, from site assembly and promotion of sites, through the planning process, pre-letting, funding and construction phases.

Sarah Hayford is the Founder and CEO of The Land Collective, a not-for-profit working to make the built environment sector more equitable and future-ready. Sarah started The Land Collective as a commercial awareness blog at university after noticing how little exposure young people from non-traditional backgrounds had to the real estate industry.

What began as a simple idea to share knowledge has grown into a respected social mobility organisation, recognised as a Top 100 Social Enterprise by NatWest. Through employability programmes, The Land Collective have built tangible pathways into the sector. Alumni have gone on to secure roles at Savills, Arup, AECOM, Cushman & Wakefield, JLL, and Montagu Evans and more, and many have pursued real estate degrees at universities across the country.

Gavin is the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of CHPK Group, responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations in collaboration with the Senior Management Team and driving the business.

He plays a key role in streamlining processes and ensuring seamless service delivery across all departments. Gavin’s dedication to technical excellence and client satisfaction has been pivotal in expanding the firm’s service portfolio and geographic reach, strengthening our reputation within the industry.

Mr Joshua Liaw was appointed the Chief Executive Officer of the Manager on 17 June 2023 and works with the Board to determine the strategy for Elite REIT and with the management team to ensure that Elite REIT operates in accordance with the Manager’s investment strategy.

Mr Liaw has more than two decades of experience in real estate finance and fund management across the banking and real estate investment trust management sectors. Prior to his current role, Mr Liaw was Executive General Manager, Finance at the manager of Lendlease Global Commercial REIT (Lendlease REIT), where he led Lendlease REIT’s investment and capital management strategy as the Chief Financial Officer.

Mr Liaw was part of the team that oversaw the initial public offering of Lendlease REIT in 2019 and the acquisition of Jem in 2022. Earlier, he held roles within Lendlease including General Manager, Finance, where he was responsible for the overall finance functions across Lendlease’s operations in Singapore, as well as Head of Treasury, Asia, where he was responsible for all debt capital management and treasury activities for Lendlease across Asia.

Mr Liaw started his career in banking, where he held various roles in Standard Chartered Bank and Citi covering real estate funds, sovereign wealth funds, real estate investment trusts and corporate developer clients in Southeast Asia. Mr Liaw holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics (Summa cum Laude) from the Singapore Management University and a Bachelor of Business (Transport & Logistics Management) with Distinction from the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology.

He was also a recipient of the Japanese Chamber of Commerce and Industry Singapore Foundation scholarship under which he undertook studies at Waseda University.

Allan Lockhart, CEO at NewRiver, has nearly 40 years’ experience in the UK retail real estate market. Allan started his career with Strutt & Parker in 1988 advising major property companies and institutions on retail leasing, investment and development. In 2002, Allan was appointed Retail Director for Halladale Plc focusing on acquiring value add opportunities in the UK retail real estate market, and ensuring the successful implementation of asset management strategies. Following the successful sale of Halladale Plc in early 2007, Allan co-founded NewRiver and served as Property Director since its IPO until being appointed CEO in May 2018.

Antonio Marin-Bataller is Head of Investment Management Living at PATRIZIA, where he leads the firm’s pan-European residential platform, overseeing the origination and execution of Living investments across multiple strategies.

He has over 25 years’ experience in European real estate, with a strong track record in residential investment and development. Prior to joining PATRIZIA in 2013, Antonio held a senior investment role at CBRE, following earlier experience in financial markets at Commerzbank, Knight Securities and Goldman Sachs.

At PATRIZIA, Antonio has played a key role in scaling the Living platform into one of the firm’s core conviction strategies, deploying capital into high-quality residential assets across major European markets, making it one of Europe’s largest residential investment managers with EUR 17.5 billion in Living assets under management.

Simon McCabe is Chief Executive of Scarborough Group International, one of the UK’s leading privately owned regeneration businesses. He oversees the Group’s property development and investment activity across the country, managing a portfolio of major mixed-use projects that deliver long-term economic and social value. Simon’s background includes roles in quantity surveying, national development and a period as a professional footballer. At Scarborough Group, he has been central to major regeneration schemes across the UK, including Thorpe Park Leeds, Middlewood Locks in Salford and Queensferry One in Rosyth, both recognised for their strong community impact and job creation. He is also a Trustee of The Scarborough Group Foundation, the Group’s charitable arm, which has donated more than £2m to medical research, health and wellbeing organisations, hospices and youth charities in the communities where the Group operates. Simon has also held roles with the Katie Piper Foundation, Sheffield United Community Foundation and Sheffield United Football Club Youth Academy, contributing to a range of community and charitable initiatives. He also spent a short period as a YTS professional footballer early in his career.

Andrew is a member of the Executive Committee with responsibility for our Data Centre business. He joined SEGRO in 2009 and prior to taking on his current role he was Chief of Staff, led our National Logistics Business Unit and held a number of finance roles including that of Director of Finance. Previously Andrew has worked in finance roles at Alliance Boots, InterContinental Hotels Group and Deloitte.

Jessica joined Fiera Capital in 2020, where she was responsible for the firm’s ESG strategies and initiatives across its real estate investments, developments and operations. In 2023, her role broadened to oversee and drive Fiera Capital’s Private Markets sustainable investing strategy across infrastructure, agriculture, private credit, private equity, timberland and real estate. In March 2026, Jessica was appointed as Managing Director for Private Markets Distribution, where she is responsible for supporting the growth of the firm’s private markets platform across the EMEA region.

Prior to joining Fiera Capital, Jessica worked in the Commercial Real Estate Credit Team at RBS (now NatWest), where she was responsible for environmental and sustainability risk processes. Previously, she was at MSCI Real Estate, where she led global sustainability benchmarking initiatives, and at the Public Investment Corporation Real Estate Asset Managers (PICREAM) in South Africa, where she managed a portfolio of retail assets in under serviced townships.

Prior to joining Landmark Ioannis was Chief Investment Officer of Vita Group, Ioannis led the growth of that business into the multifamily and Spanish markets and was part of the executive leadership team.

Sam is a forward-thinking CEO who seamlessly integrates innovation and efficiency into his leadership approach. As an experienced Chartered Building Surveyor with a specialisation in Rights of Light, Daylight & Sunlight, and Dilapidations, including expert witness work, Sam brings a wealth of knowledge to his role.
